Aion Bank recognised as Benelux second best in digital value creation
Brussels, 15th of February 2022. D-Rating assessed nearly 100 European banks in Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Sweden, the Netherlands, Portugal and Poland. Not only traditional banks, but also first-generation digital banks and neobanks. Compared to many competitors on the market, Aion Bank comes out as one of the best in terms of digital value creation: from digital customer journeys and contact channels (mobile app and web features) to smooth digital access to banking products and services like account openings, transfers and customer support.
According to D-Rating, digitally guiding customers to new products is one of the domains where Aion Bank leaves the competition behind, both in terms of account opening and access to banking offers. The need for a high quality digital customer journey is underpinned by a clear demand for the agile and transparent experience that Aion Bank offers its clients.
“Covid-19 has accelerated the existing trend of digitalisation,” explains Kim Van Esbroeck, Country Head Belgium of Aion Bank. “Our vision was to create a fully digital, mobile-first bank, and we are proud to be recognised by D-Rating for our quick and easy access to products and services that help our members save money and time,” she adds.
